EASTER / GETTING READY FOR MOTHER'S DAY

EASTER MORNING
(well, at least when we celebrated Easter)

The boys were excited to go find their baskets.

We decided to use totes instead of
baskets so they were useful after Easter.

Both boys found theirs really fast.

They immediately dug into them looking for goodies.

AT NIGHT
We had a glow in the dark egg hunt.

You can't tell in the pictures, but all the eggs are dark colors
and there is a ring around them that glows when you shine
a black light on it. We had lots of fun with it.

You can see the boys flashlights in some of the pictures.

They searched everywhere.

Sometimes more than once.

Dad even had to help.

It's not as easy as it looks.

Don't tell Scott, but I see an egg behind him...

Scott really tried hard to find all the eggs.

Isaac was a little better at it, but that is
what we expected to happen.

But I think Scott had more fun.

They sure were happy boys.

Our friend Carlos even joined in on the
egg finding festivities.

GETTING READY FOR MOTHER'S DAY
We found little wood frames for the boys
to color for their Mom.

They had a lot of fun and they turned out REALLY cute.

Scott's is supposed to be a castle.

And Isaac's is baseball stuff.
I'm glad he is making the same face as he was in the picture...

February... Sorry it's so late!

Better late than never...
The boys were having fun wrestling with Hillaury
and Isaac put his gloves and hat on... I guess to look tougher.
Hillaury and I picked out some nice little blankets for
the boys. She crocheted a really nice pattern around the edges.

Scott loves his blanket and he was really cute falling asleep with it.

He even fell asleep cuddling with the blanket and his Care Bears book.

We finally remembered to crack the wishbone from Christmas.

Scott won.

Scott learned how to make his muscles big.

Grasshopper loves playing Wii with the balance board.

Scott is such a cute little boy. He loves Charlie.

Paul was getting his groove on...

CHRISTMAS

We had an amazing Christmas this year!

Isaac and Scott love their new bikes!!!

Scott drew this.. everyone in the family is
there... Including the dog and cat.

Scott got some glow sticks that he turned
into a bracelet and necklace. He was playing with
them in the dark and Paul turned on the flash
for the camera and this is what we found him doing.

The cat was not in the holiday spirit.

Charlie just likes holiday mud I guess.

It's Starting To Look A Lot Like Christmas

Gingerbread House
Every year when I was growing up my family made
Gingerbread Houses. This year I got to make one
with the boys and we had a blast!
Scott wanted to decorate his side first
Isaac was very detailed about he wanted his half to look.
It turned out really cute! I would consider
it a success. Isaac even had ideas for what he
want to do for the house we make next year.

There is a spot for a picture on Isaac's stocking
and this is the picture he wants in it.
Tired Boys

Scott was one tired boy... he must have played hard.

Not even Star Trek could keep Isaac awake.

We had hoped to be able to go the zoo,
but it was snowing too much.

Getting Ready for Christmas

After Thanksgiving
A few weeks ago my Mom and Dad came to visit
and they brought a note pad that says
my old name and address on the top.
I found one of the sheets in the kitchen...
Isaac crossed out my mainden name
and wrote Johnson. (I guess now we know
that he thinks of me as family)
CHRISTMAS TREE!!!
This is our first Christmas tree!

Paul put it up the day after Thanksgiving.
It's not a very good picture...
but this is Paul putting on the lights.
The boys were really excited about
decorating the Christmas Tree
Paul had to put up the high ones...
First Weekend of December
Paul printed out some coloring pages
for the boys, I think they turned out nice
Scott is learning how to color inside
the lines really good!

Isaac colored his REALLY well!!!
he was so cute, he colored this while I was gone
and as soon as I walked in the door he gave it to me.
He was so proud of it. He even put a gift tag on it
so I would know it was from him.
SANTA at Woods Cross Elementary
I asked Isaac what he asked Santa for...
He said, "Exactly what I picked out to give Scott!"

They were so cute! We waited in line for an
hour to see Santa. they were the best behaived
kids in line... which was a nice surprise.

When I asked Scott what he asked for he
told me it was the thing that he pointed out
at Target that they would both want.
Next weekend we are going to see the lights
that they put up at the zoo.

Halloween (sorry it's late)

Well, we went Tick-or-Treating... but I forgot
the camera. Terrible, I know.

Scott was a Ninja

Isaac was a Red Eye Ghoul

Charlie was an adorable Pirate

We had a little party at Hillaury's
house and Paul was being his cute self.

This is the first Pumpkin I ever carved

Charlie was being really cute with her bear.

The boys had a lot of fun with their
friend Melissa.

Scott was cute singing with Paul

Melissa and Scott did a duet and it
was REALLY cute

Isaac was too cool to get in on the singing.
At least that day.

Charlie was bring in a present from outside.
It was a piece of bark.

Scott wanted to do some more singing
the next day.

This time Isaac got in on the action.

They had lots of fun singing together.

We were lucky enough to have Scott let us
record him singing.

Looks like he is going to be a Rockstar!
